It’s time to get ready for the 2018 professional conference season. Schedules are out and the timing is perfect to submit requests to your district and schools. This is the time of year that they are beginning to work on the budgets for the upcoming school year. Check with your administrators to see what funding is available for different professional development opportunities. If they are not able to fund a trip or conference nearby, ask if there are grant writers who are able to look for money which may be available from that direction.
